Cameron Aubrey

Director

Cameron started studying massage in London England in 1999 at The Clare Maxwell Hudson School of Massage which is the premier London massage school, specialising in Swedish Massage, Sports Massage and Deep Tissue massage. After 4 years of studying various techniques, running his own massage clinic and working closely with a chiropractor and osteopath, Cameron returned to Australia and completed the Diploma Remedial Massage.

Cameron also ran a successful remedial massage clinic specialising in back pain before acquiring Discover Massage Australia. He has been involved in sport all his life and now stays active through running on a regular basis. He also enjoys going to the football during the winter months and in summer to the cricket.

Joe Amato

Joe has been practicing massage for the past 25 years and has a strong passion for anatomy and the study of injuries to the human body.

Joe has been working for DMA since 2010 and has a teaching style like no other. He is very thorough and precise when teaching our techniques. His smile and personality is infectious and his passion for the massage industry is evident in this teaching style

When not teaching with us, Joe enjoys weightlifting, boxing and keeping fit through diet and exercise.

Andrew Barnes

Andrew has been practicing massage for the past 15 years.

Andrew has been working for DMA since 2012 and definitely has a teaching style like no other. He is passionate, thorough and enjoys a laugh with students. He is very thorough and precise when teaching our techniques. His personality is infectious and his passion for massaging correctly and how to run a massage business are his strengths.

When not teaching with us, Andrew enjoys playing his drums and creating amazing paintings .

Kyle Southcombe

Kyle has been involved in the health and fitness industry for the past 14 years and has been running his own very successful Massage Practice for 8 years now. Kyle is passionate about massage and helping others overcome their injuries. He has been an instructor for DMA since early 2010 and enjoys sharing his knowledge with all of our students.

Kyle has a wealth of knowledge within the Massage Industry and after completing the career pathway with DMA he is getting amazing results with our treatments. His practice is made up of repeat business and referrals from other health professionals and clientele.

In Kyle’s “me time” he likes going to the gym and running. He also loves travelling overseas to Asia and Europe.

Kylie Barker

Kylie has been involved in the fitness industry for the past 30 years and first became passionate about massage when she completed a Sports Massage Course 26 years ago to help her Personal Training Clients and Fitness Class Participants with their injuries. She has a passion for helping others improve their fitness, health and wellbeing through exercise, nutrition and massage.

Kylie has been running her own very successful business, “KB Fitness Nutrition & Massage”, for 12 years now, which is made up of repeat business and referrals. She has been an instructor for DMA since 2021 and her passion for the massage industry is evident in her dedication to teaching our students.

When Kylie isn’t working she enjoys being involved as a Sports Trainer at her children’s local Football/Netball Club, and in addition, she loves watching her children play basketball, cricket and competes in Calisthenics competitions.

Andrew Macfarlane

Andrew has been a chiropractor for 25 years and has always used soft tissue techniques in practice. He has been a clinical nutritionist for 20 years and has advanced training in numerous techniques, this is because he has a passion for understanding health and all its facets.

A Holistic approach to healing has been ingrained into his philosophy through his own and patients experiences, simply the most efficient, effective pathway to health excellence.

Kerilyn Osborn

NSW Course Instructor

Kerilyn completed our Advanced Deep Tissue and Common Injuries Level Two qualifications in 2009 and has been an instructor with Discover Massage Australia since 2010.

As well as instructing with Discover Massage Australia Kerilyn currently works as a Remedial Massage Therapist alongside an experienced Chiropractor. Here she provides muscular and soft tissue manipulation prior to skeletal adjustments.

Kerilyn also massages professional sporting teams including the Western Sydney Wanderers soccer team, Sydney Kings Basketball team and currently the Penrith Panthers National Rugby League team.

When she isn’t working Kerilyn can be found on the sidelines watching her two kids play tennis or swimming. During summer, visiting Bondi beach is a regular occurrence on weekends as well as staying active at the gym or walking the family Westie.

We believe the best massage therapists learn hands-on, not through hours of lectures. That’s why we focus on teaching you the practical skills you need, backed up with knowledge so you can competently treat your clients.

Our massage courses are fully recognised with the Massage Association of Australia (MAA) and the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT). On completion of the Whole Body Massage course you will be able to join the MAA or IICT and purchase professional Indemnity Insurance. Membership facilitates purchase of Professional Indemnity insurance allowing you to practice professionally.
