Our commitment to quality sets us apart
We’re different to the other massage schools, and it shows in the quality of our graduates:
Learn a comprehensive system (not just strokes)
We don’t teach a set of technically disjointed massage strokes – we give you a complete and thorough system to effectively massage the entire body for therapy or relaxation.
Highly effective training helps you memorise our system
Rather than just demonstrating each stroke then moving on we’ll present and explain each stroke, you practise it, then we revise and show you how to organically add the stroke to your repertoire.
Unique and distinctive techniques
Our techniques were developed over the past 30 years by our founding owner, and they work by directly releasing tendons, ligaments, muscle fibres and fascia, rather than focusing on the muscle groups.
This course covers:
- Hands-on training in whole body massage, include deep tissue massage
- Learn how the body functions with the anatomy and physiology module
- Practice management, law and ethics, equipping you to effectively manage your business
- The importance of safe practices, infection control and workplace health & safety
- 80hrs of supervised practical work experience in our RTO's clinic rooms

We believe in high standards and hands-on learning
We’re a bit different to most massage schools out there – and for over 20 years we’ve been preparing our students for rewarding careers – we’re proud of the quality of our graduates.
The Discover Massage experts have developed a series of Contractual Tendon Release (CTR)™ and Contractual Ligament Release (CLR)™ techniques that are unique within the industry. We’ll ensure you have the skills and knowledge to competently apply what we teach for effective therapy or relaxation.
Earn as you learn
You can begin learning at any time, and simply complete the practical units as you go. You only have to complete the introductory weekend Whole Body Massage course before you can apply for insurance and begin working.
This way, you can work through the Deep Tissue Massage for Common Injuries and theory courses in your own time, and apply the skills you learn straight away with your clients.
We find our students perform better and feel more confident as a result of all the additional hands-on experience they get while working throughout their course. And we give you the freedom to complete your Certificate IV around your lifestyle, at a time and place that suits you.
There are no pre-requisites required, and upon completion many health funds recognise this qualification, including insurers in the ARHG group, Health Partners and CBHS.
