About Discover Massage Australia - Specialises in Hands-On Massage Therapy Courses For Beginners And Advanced Students

How Discover Massage Australia Began

Discover Massage Australia was founded in 1995 formally known as All Regions Massage School by Brian Cavill- Remdial Massage Therapist. Brian had a successful practice in Rowville and taught his massage techniques part time.

The demand for his techniques became so great that he sold his practice and began training others through the All Regions Massage School. He taught his unique and thorough massage therapy system including his "contractual tendon release" techniques. Students such as Melissa Kennedy took their first steps to becoming massage therapists through the courses.

Course Availability

To make these courses more readily available and to reach a wider area, DMA has spent a great deal of time selecting and training up massage therapy teachers who are confident and competent in their own right. Courses are regularly conducted in the following cities:

Points Of Distinction

There are many points of distinction for the courses offered by DMA, but the following are of particular significance.

A Massage System, Not Just Strokes

DMA is committed to ensuring that students learn a system for effective massage rather than simply learning a set of massage strokes. As part of this, DMA ensures that students are equipped with the necessary knowledge to start on a career as a massage therapist.

Thorough And Effective

Care is taken with all instruction to ensure that the massage therapy presented is both thorough and effective.

Distinctive Techniques

DMA massage techniques are unique in that they work directly on releasing the tendons and the ligaments, rather than just focussing on the muscle groups. DMA has developed two new forms of massage therapy, which are:

These techniques are only taught in the Deep Tissue and Common Injuries Massage courses. This teaching in unique and exclusive to Discover Massage Australia.
